Ingenious

August 28, 2015

Ingenious

I am an ingenious black woman.

I am……

Viewed as a victim

Categorized as a minority

Portrayed as a perpetrator

I am a product of my environment

I was……

Taught to be resourceful

Empowered to be original

Molded to be strong

I am from a single parent home

I rely on no one

I learned to be astute

I am sharp-witted

Who am I?

I am my own woman.

I am a creative individual

With a strong, imagination

I am docile when needed to be

At the same time a pioneer

Who am I?

I am ingenious
