Through the Forest

August 21, 2017

Once upon a time,

a girl ran through the forest.

As silent as a mime,

the girl ran through the forest.

Afraid to wake the wolf,

the girl ran through the forest.

Afraid he would engulf,

the girl ran through the forest.

But sadly cloaked in red,

was the girl who ran through the forest.

And so the wolf engulfed her head,

the girl lay still in the forest.
