Confessions of an Eskimo
February 1, 2014
Secluded in a frozen tundra
Bundled with layers of furs
This trek is a hard one
From what I concur
To animals approaching, I thrust my spear
To snowstorms on the horizon, I hide in fear
“Woof” is the only comforting sound I here
It is my Husky, Bakana
Without her I can’t survive
Without her there is only snow and my demise.
