the path of life

June 7, 2019

you meet these people

on the path of life

as lovers, as friends, as family

as something entirely different

sometimes they stay,

sometimes they go,

but always

bringing different feelings

that last forever

weaved in our memories

held close in our hearts

i still wonder

does that make me a believer?

perhaps coincidence

fate, or sheer blind luck

long remaining questions

left locked up

hidden in our minds

craving answers

that we are too afraid to ask
