I wonder about these thoughts

The ones that keep me spinning.

I feel like giving up,

But I know my nature won’t allow it.

The pushing and pulling,

What I really want, I can’t say.

The black and white spiraling into grey.

The walls crumble and my heart beats.

My body stops and my mind shuts down,

But my eyes start looking.

I’m tempted to win this war with the world,

And I know it’s just starting.
