hayley- my family free verse

March 19, 2016

humour takes over

the house filled wth clowns

an inside joke

that one peson never gets

annoying and teasing

everyone ganged up on

one victim

when one thing's done wrong

a wave f anger towers over us

but it alwas fades,

leaving with the tide

food chokes us at dinner

when dad gets involved

the stories of his past

alway leaving us laughing

or wincing in pain

our family all built into one

everyone with their job;

the worker, the nurse

the writer, the actor

and the reader
