Don't stop

May 12, 2021

Wake up, what's next?

Get up, what's next?

Beer for breakfast, what's next?

Think you wanna have sex,

with yourself though,

Cause, your iphone's broke, and,

everybody knows that nowadays that's the only way to find a bloke.

So you go through a pack of tabs,

Spliff, fag, spliff, fag, spliff, fag

it ain't all that bad,

at 12 the pub'll open.

Inside, everyone broken.

Careful, don't let them catch you moping.

Chin up mate, lighten up.

Don't be a mug.

Push your feelings down,

Cause you know, healings frowned upon

here,

where I'm sat across the table from fear,

I look around, where is everyone?

They've all gone.

Just me and you.

Have a pint, here I got you 2.

Take this key, go to the loo.

Told you I'd be here for you.

Best way to stop feeling blue,

is just to get up and get on with it.

That way it all stacks up making a deep dark pit,

in your stomach where it will sit,

until it makes its way up to your heart

and that's where it will leave its true mark.

But don't growl, don't howl and don't bark,

cause the rest of your pack will only pull you apart.
