Drawing eyes is like creating my audience.

My audience that so generously

criticizes every one of my moves.

My audience that doesn't dare to train their gaze

off me.

They want to savor every wrong move I make

They want to remind me of how I could be better

when I was my best.

They want to tear me to pieces and uncover

all my weaknesses

but that's alright.

After all,

I drew them as eyes,

the eyes of my audience.
