(Her)a

Her,

The queen bee,

The popular girl,

Dating the popular boy,

She has everything a girl could ever want,

Except,

Things aren’t always as they seem,

Her,

The person every girl asks for dating advice,

If you got Hera to set you up,

Then your relationship was blessed,

Surely her own relationship would be perfect,

Except,

Things aren’t always as they seem,

Her,

Who is hopelessly in love with her boyfriend, Zeus,

Captain of the football team,

Who steals breakaways,

And girls hearts,

A perfect match the king and queen of the high school should be,

Except,

Things aren’t always as they seem,

Her,

The girl whose jealousy overwhelms her,

As she watches Zeus go off with girl after girl,

Some she knew from their school, Olympus High,

Some she didn’t,

Zeus thought he could sneak behind her back and cheat,

He thought he got away with it,

Except,

Things aren’t always as they seem,

Her,

The girl who vowed to get back at Zeus,

The girl who ruined the lives of all his little flings,

From Lamia,

To Gerana,

And Echo who tried to deceive her,

She would become overwhelmed with her jealousy,

Zeus was hers,

She believed it had to be true,

Except,

Things aren’t always as they seem,

Her,

Hera who,

On the outside,

Was perfect,

Except,

Things aren’t always as they seem,
