wreckage

June 13, 2017

i'm fine now. I still wake up clutching the edge of the bed drenched in sweat, but I'm better.
i'm fine now. I'm high and I still cry but I'm working a nine to five, so
i'm better.
I'm fine now. I don't watch the VCR's anymore, I go through the letters, but I'm better.
I'm fine now. I still hear your giggle in my head, but I play music to drown it out instead, so I'm better.
I'm fine now. Memories are taunting and the visuals tend to haunt me, but
I'm better.

she's the definition of legend,
she's a forced to be reckoned,
she sure knew how to wreck me,
so you'll find me in the wreckage.
