Torn Inside

November 29, 2014

I’m

Broken up inside and I

Can’t tell you what’s

Wrong but I will

Try to let you see.

You’d

Hate me so much because I’m

Not what you dreamed and I

Am so sorry but you

Should know about

My girl.

She’s

Golden like honey,

Bright like the sun,

She lights my way home,

She makes me feel free.

I

Feel whole when I think of her

Her cute little grin

The dimples I kissed so often

It was a game I’d always win.

She

Showed me love

I’d wish on a star and I…

I would wrap my arms around her

To tell her how sweet she really is

I

Always felt warm around her

Warm to my very core

I knew I’d never stop loving her

When I held her through the night.

Then

I told you

I made a mistake

But

Now she’s

Gone from me

When I see her I want to

Cry but I know that it was both of us.

We

Left each other

Broken

Because you made me.

I

Wish I could be who

You wanted but instead I

Just “sin” because I loved

My girl.

It

Was a love so pure, so

Strong I don’t see how you

Would twist it until

My love

Broke.
