Scars

April 23, 2018

                                                        On my wrist are scars

That you can't see from afar

                                                        Up close they appear

                                                   I wish they would disappear

You see my scars as a mystery

                                                   Their apart of my history

You don't know the real me

                                                 That appears behind the scenes

                                                   I cast the darkness away

For the light to forever stay
