If you don't learn to write your own story, you will be responsible for your own erasure.

Since the age of 13, I have had undying passion for music, poetry, and all forms of writing. At 22, I reflect and build from these times. I hope you can take the time to dive into my psyche. It's a wild ride, I promise.

Hopeless Romanti-phobe by Jaay Dee Kayy

December 5, 2018

People all around you,

Yet you feel alone;

Reclined on the couch,

Yet you're not at home;

There is no love, no love, no love here,

No love, no love, all you feel is fear;

Until one day, your fear subsides,

One day, one day, love arrives;

Love jumps out of nowhere, unannounced,

Like a lion cub performing it's first pounce,

You finally open up your heart, YES! The love is strong...

Until love dies and you feel alone;

So yes I'm love-phobic and I can't hide it,

But the cycle will continue until fear has subsided.

It's hopeless....
