a faint world

October 8, 2014

We all feel depressed when the world is faint,

We have open feelings but our hearts stay blank,

We search the world to find a silver lining,

But honestly to me my happiness is hiding,

I can’t find any joy in the presence of my life,

For when I’m sleeping I run away through the night,

To look back at everything that has happened in my past,

Let’s me know the smile on my face will only be a mask,

I remember the time when my life was good,

But within all the mistakes my apologies will stay misunderstood,

People call me names that I try not to see,

And it keeps pulling me away from the time when I was happy,

Life will always be faint so I keep it at a distance,

But as the voices talk I hear and I don’t listen,

I didn’t want to be here I wish I was a stray,

But to look back at broken memories brings back the pain of yesterday,

In this faint world we see on only tears,
