Regrets

May 16, 2014
Cigarettes and white wine
Regrets it all with time
Maybe it's a sign
That I crossed the line
Flew past go when I was suppose to stop
Seeing green when it's red
Maybe I misread a lot
Thought  I was the one you  wanted
But permission was never granted
Guess I was just born to be the other guy
Never  the thing you desired
Just the reason for you to  stay higher
Uninspired unmotivated liar
This is my goodbye
After our brief hi
My little try
To  give you  the world
Now your just the girl
I always wanted but could never have
The one  I tried to grab
But always slipped out of reach
All this meant to teach
Me that loves a game
Oh what a shame
I could never win
