Like an Echo

July 13, 2014

I write of the way

          That I see pieces fit,

The truths that I see

          I don't want to admit.

I write of connections

          In hopes that I'll find

A way to sort out

          The chaos in my mind.

I write to be heard

                      Understand,

                                         Understood.

To try to decide

            If I really          am          good.

My words might as well shout,

           Though they're hid quietly,

For the only one who must hear them

                                     Is me.
