If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

6 poems·Since July 2013

Life is a story ,and it's just waiting to be shared. I love to write, whether it be amateur novels, poetry, songs, whatever. Not everyone likes what I write, but I don't care. It's more for me than anyone else. It's like therapy for me, like each problem floats away with every word. A lot of times my writings can be dark, but it's because I feel the most inspired when I'm going through an emotional time. Some of these poems I post here might be old from when I was younger, too. I used to struggle with depression and my anxiety real bad, and once in a while it comes back, but I think despite all my whining, I think I'm a pretty positive person with a big heart. Just sometimes, it's not so easy to communicate with people, which is where my writing comes in :)
