Here’s the next application

Ready for you to fill out!

Which application?

The one to determine my future career

Five, ten, twenty years down the line?

Or the one to ensure I have money now

In order to support my family and myself?

Please remind me for I have lost track,

I’m too busy waiting for confirmation on any of them.

Oh yeah, don’t forget!

You have to pay attention to the divisive politics

That makes you angry and bitter because it might affect your life someday!

And the more you age, the more relevant it becomes

Go ahead, you have to watch it almost every day and get used to it!

Oh yeah, you also will have to learn how to study,

How to love,

How to make friends,

How to make a resume,

How to fix a car,

How to function as a human being,

All on your own, with no safety guaranteed!

Because guess what?

Congratulations kid, welcome to your realization!

You’re an adult now!
