panic

January 6, 2018

my head was Swimming

with all the onerous Demands i had to face

completely Overwhelming all of my senses

and commanding my Undivided attention.

my Thoughts and Feelings

started to Mix together

each Undistinguishable from the other

leaving me in a state of Confusion.

they wouldn’t stop Moving,

constantly Swirling around, Teasing me

by staying just out of Reach

until they got me to Break.

there was no rational Thought (or Feeling?)

“Just Scream!”

and I did.

i blew the Stars away.

i hoped i had scared my Demons away

but i only managed to frighten my Angels

who looked at me with Worried wonder

unable to decode my Cryptic cry.

i was left Trying to catch my breath

with Liquid draining down the grooves of my face.

my manic heartbeat Never ceasing its

Panicked pace.
