Too hate you

January 9, 2017

I hate how much I want you. Nothing I say will fix it.

I've tried to hate you, ignore you, push you away.

Moving on was impossible I tried everyday for months.

Waiting for the moment I didn't feel anything towards your worn out heart.

They were all defence against the truth.

Ways to distract me from the gaping hole in my chest where only you fit.

I want you more than anything. I need you no one else will ever feel the same.

Now you're gone; again I'm at ground zero; alone. No way to touch your skin, your lips too far.

The smell of smoke on your clothes.

I've tried to be happy for you moving on.

But it's not right when all I want is you, and you've got someone new.

It all feels wrong. I can't hate you, I can't forget.

I won't find another. I still want you.

You are the only one I love

Take a step back I'll let you free, it's selfish of me to try and make you think about me.

I'd do anything for it to be the old way. To not be afraid of losing you for good each and every day.

I can't move I'm stuck between loving you and choking to death from missing you
