Subconscious Thoughts

June 20, 2015

Things got tough PLENTY of times.

But you don't just up & leave like that.

It's so difficult to believe you when you say you care because your actions prove the exact opposite.

I haven't heard from you in days.

You don't treat me the same.

I'm not a monster. I'm not evil. I don't want to hurt you anymore.

But there's a wide open door

In my heart

Where you lied and schemed and betrayed

Me?

Thought you said you weren't like them...but people are capable of anything & I gotta stick firm to my beliefs.

This isn't you.

Don't you think I've suffered enough? Don't you think you've punished me enough?

I don't know what else you want from me.

I literally would give my life for you & you wouldn't even glance in my direction.

We're 2 different people with 2 different hearts.

I care too little in the beginning & too much in the end.

You care too much in the beginning & not at all at the end.

My heart is battered, bruised and ruined from where your actions left a mark.

Your heart is black or nonexistent.

I caused that.

And I'm sorry for changing such a beautiful person.
