of possibility and reality

October 25, 2014

I close my eyes. what might I see? perhaps a version of my beloved mother country that is more glorious than it used to be. Perhaps an eternally happy family whom I love and who love me. Perhaps a wold finally at peace with itself, filled with equality among people and perpetual liberty. maybe. I open my eyes. Now  I observe reality. time moving in 3 circles,  and people who will only be what they choose to be. they see only what they want to see. few dare look beyond nationality, gender and skin even for a moment, and believe the whim that no matter how different of distant we are all kin. across the earth Life starts and ends again and again. to think and to dream, as anyone can see: unless we act beauty will never be the same thing as reality.
