Constant Changes

January 17, 2017

Poetry

it’s constantly changing

Like the world

Verse to verse

Stanza to stanza

Never identical in any way.

Beginning calm and sooth like the first snowfall of the season

Then it transforms into a rough blizzard that cancels school for a week.

Speaking softly and slow like the gentle pull of the tide

But getting consumed into the message that's like a hurricane waiting to be unleashed.

How quickly it rains on a sunny florida day

Or

The time it takes for a tornado to touch down in kansas.

Poetry

It’s constantly changing

Like the world

Let it be.
