Things Change

July 3, 2013

Look all around and you will see

Nothing is the way it used to be

Everything keeps changing

Is there no way to stop this rearanging?

Just when everything seems alright

I find myself amidst another plight

All because everything changes

With the blink of an eye

Friendships come

And friendships go

As time goes by some friendships fade

It's like we both go our separate ways

Seems as though we just drift apart

A thought like this breaks my heart

And some friendships as they die

Seem just like an illusive butterfly

Change takes place without consent

So I had better be ready

To find the good it brings

Or it will leave me in the dust
