why wouldn't we

August 14, 2013

I write for the breathless.

For the instrumentals in the ideas of an emotion.

I place words on your tongue, in your mind, on your conscious.

Carefully.

So your heart can create.

I write to be every moment of my own.

To understand the parts of us that we dont.

Suddenly.

Your palms open and close, slowly.

I write to fill a void, darkened and lightened

in a sickening juxtaposition of...

Release the regret of an unnamed freedom.

Barely.

I write to swell our lungs with life.
