Puddle

November 8, 2018

Drip,

the puddle grows

Drip,

A tear falls

Drip,

I cry out.

You don’t hear

No one does.

I reach out,

My hands slapped.

“You don’t need help.”

---------------------

My smile is stolen,

I feel broken.

The car drives,

Drives to a place

I use to hate.

Now it brings me joy.

It brings me joy only because

You’re not here.

I can be myself,

I have people who care about me.

I fall out of the car,

You leave.

You don’t care.

Even though you say you do.

----------------------------

Your not here
