All Started Small

January 24, 2015

It takes one to live, and to live one must know

It take a world of lows, to let one grow

It takes a tender heart, to let growth start

I ste[ into this world, and sit to be taught

It takes a life of living, and many moments of distraught

For the beginnings of all things, start small

A person that strives must first follow their call

It takes the life of one, to teach what they saw

Without passed down knowledge, I remain small

With the lives of others, everything hears to their call

The small becomes big, and a tower of knowledge I dig

For the beginnings of all things, start small

Even the days I fall, I grow one more inch

I am strong where I am weak

And look beyond even what I seek

I dream big so even the days I am down, I grow instead of hitting a low

Because even when I am big, I know I started with just a call

I started small

But now

My call for happiness is now happy

My ideas now actions

My life being lived

This is the fact

That most people lack

People search for society's "big"

But nothing comes without work

All things call for a foundation

We live from what our generations have taught, and come together as a nation

For in the beginning, all things start small
