If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

2 poems·Since August 2013

I am a writer of love, acceptance, equality, joy and most of all entertainment. I do this as a staturely small young man from a small town, but with big dreams and the stars on my mind.

The way everybody else views us is obscured,

they do not know us they do not know our back story,

they do not know what we have been through,

because I do not know about you, but there is a load to my back story,

that affects my frontal appearance,

that nobody seems to notice or even try to.

The thing is though why should they?,

why should they need to to know what we have been through,

we are the ones that let these life experiences get to us.

But we do not decide how we react to these experiences,

we just...do.

So what do we do?

Do we just live on and act like nothings happened or,

do we devote our persuasive time and energy to,

trying to eliminate judging.

I say we just do what we can for the betterment of us and those we love.

Thank you,

LBT
