You came up silently
A fire cascading down on me
Lighting my heart
In childlike wonder
Then gone so hastily
Now all I’m left with is...

When the couple lived happily ever after
Because I wanted what they had

Even the way you say my name sounds like an accusation.
I hear your footsteps over the carpet, linolieum, steel, whatever your latest...
