By All Means

May 3, 2015

By all means

By - All - Means …

Direct your hatred gaze at me,

Shoot your vicious voice,

For I can be your target.

Type your filth,

Your rotten words,

Fill the screen with your decaying presence,

This screen is our window,

And through it we see your soul.

Here your thoughts,

For all to see,

Fly past the target that should be me,

Hitting those that should be free,

From your barrage of malicious debauchery.

Now speech is free,

But comes at a cost,

And you would not take it back,

Even when you could,

You have purchased pain that cannot be returned.

Keep your receipt,

Store it safely,

Add it to your life's account,

But enter it twice,

For you are surely in the red.

By all means

By - All - Means …

Express your entitled opinion, it is free,

But the cruel poison left behind ,

Will linger long after your blackened window shatters
