Where I'm From

April 10, 2014

I am from many places, from Utah and California

I am from the Lone Star State

I am from the land of corn and fields of cotton

I am from love and discipline, from Dad and Mama Jones

From earthquakes and thunderstorms

I am from Kansas, Nebraska, as well as Arizona

I am from farm and from city, where there's beans and fries

From the pirate ships that sailed back and forth between America and England

From the Royal Scottish family that's caring and kind

I am from many places as you can plainly see
