Vise & Versa

August 1, 2014

How is it that it rains on the day I shine?

Mess up everything I put down,

Abstracts my world from my hand, and implants it into Destiny’s

My words and authority is to no prevail.

But at the same time should I let it be

Beautiful as life is?

Or is it beauty you seek?

Or power you desire?

Or all of the above?

But be careful what you wish for,

Because pure chaos could descend upon you.

And even though you might possess everything,

You might feel like nothing.

Instead of your heart being there,

It’s a vacuum

Emptiness,

No love,

Bye.
