Emily

November 2, 2018

We skated around the town,

I wish I didn't drown

in the river,

I wish i could've seen her

grow up.

I wish I could've met her

when we were 5,

And anythig she would've told me,

I could've believed.

Anything she could've told me,

I would've believed.

And when we were 17,

we went to 17th street,

and got some soup,

as you do.

We always do.

And when the year came to an end

I wanted to see her again,

she came over,

and I kissed her

in my bed.

She came over,

and I kissed her

again.
