Self Doubt

June 16, 2013
Drifting down corridors of darkened dreams, shadowing the hopes of everything, sneaking, creeping out from behind, is the haunter of all mankind. Preying on our loss in confidence, the demon upholds its brutal defense. Keeping the ground it has gained, we are struggling through to just remain. The glistening white fades to grey, due to mistakes that we’ve made. We stifle our passions just to find, we’ve been beaten again, left behind. Despite all the bitterness inside, we somehow find the way to light. Assurance doesn’t come from victory; confidence resides within you and me.
