Almost two months ago my dog passed away

she was kind and sweet and always said hey

now we are looking for a new family member

because we are finding it hard to remember 

what it was like to love someone so much

we need someone new that we can clutch

when we need him to help us through 

our tough times when we are blue

the dog we will get will be "used"

because the people who had them before made us quite confused

this sweet amazing dog that did no wrong

but was left behind for way too long

he will find a new home with us

and will wonder why everyone caused such a fuss
