Vulnerable

October 20, 2018
Being vulnerable is such a beautiful thing To let someone in And to let them see All of the broken pieces And doors left open Being vulnerable is such a confusing thing To wonder if that person will stay Or if after seeing everything Will they run away Being vulnerable is such a nerve wracking thing To wonder if someone will look at you Better than you look at yourself Or if they'll choose to look at you And speak the thoughts you say While looking in the mirror Being vulnerable never happens in fairy tales Now that my be for a very good reason For all though it is beautiful It is also confusing Nerve wracking some may say The goods may outweigh the bad in some situations However some may ask: Is it worth it to take that chance?
