The Path

February 16, 2016
Live and let live or fight and die,
these are the choices society has given.
The upper echelon has chosen the latter.
Becoming the destroyer, the reaper, all for the title of owner.
Not I, and the few who know the world is going to blow,
if we follow the path forced upon us.
So it is up to us, though we number few,
to forge a new path,
the road less traveled,
the path of compassion, and love
the road to a better future starts,
within our hearts.
