apple picking

October 3, 2016

Strong core,

         like that temple of yours.

Well rounded seed,

         much like your mind.

Sweeeeeet daily snack,

like your kiss on my lips.

Mouth-watering insides,

         much like your energy.

Bold stemmed roots,

         like your sincerest character.

The ripest Granny Smith,

like the love I have for you.
