wax & string

January 22, 2020

hot. hot wax. burns it all away.

i barely even flinch anymore.

it's all new. White. Pink.

a cooling touch of Green.

each stroke of Brown. an angry claw.

we dream of change forever.

two strings. they tug tug tug.

the pain is relaxing. a sting. a pulse.

it's all new. White. Pink.

a cooling touch of Green.

Change. it's never permanent.

yet i can pull out my whole face.

i feel like everything.

and absolutely nothing.
