The Faede

October 3, 2013

My friends are calling from within,
telling me to come back in,
Hurry, hasten, don't delay,
Come and join us in the Faede.

Burning violets smolder in the sky,
across indigo meadows my friends cry,
"You're here, you're here, won't you play?"
Stay a while, stay a day.

Swimming in the silver streams,
Wind whispers in to my dreams,
Look a little closer, see right there,
this place is only what you dream to dare.

Paint peels in the corners,
the walls begin melt,
they try to fix their errors,
and hide the hand she'd dealt,

Ignore, Ignore, and appreciate,
the world we deigned to create,
Ignore, and let the time fly by,
don't you know you've come to die?
