Becoming Bolder

January 13, 2017

What will they think of me? What if I fail?

What is wrong with me? Why can't I act myself?

Why do I try when I cannot possibly,

live up to the expectations they give to me?

Right when I feel at home and not lonely,

we pack up and leave all that was close to me.

It took so long before, what's the point now?

No. I'll choose to be bolder, I'll choose to be proud.

I'll tell what I think, and I will not shut up.

I don't care how they view me, or if they say I'm not good enough.

My worth is not found in this world that I'm in.

Its found in God's sight, and He looks past my sin.

This new location wasn't part of my plan,

but He's working it out, all while holding my hand.
