The Permanent Stain

March 30, 2014

Ever do or say something that
you will always regret? The pure
embarrassment and the reaction
on everyone’s faces
when you realize that your perfectly
good apple has just become rotten.
Destroyed, demolished.
The pain that follows is the worst.
The realizing that you can never
take it back, no matter what.
There is no blast to the past
that would change your decision.
You just have to live with that
permanent stain.
