immolate me

June 12, 2020

set me ablaze.

my concrete needs dissolving into a puddle

on my bedroom floor.

contain it before it traps another.

take paper. burn it. now mould a new

person from the ashes.

a songbird,

fresh and ready and growing and nothing like

me. and never let it near the concrete.
