Broadway

July 3, 2014

Curtain opens

Lights are on

Music starts

This is my song

The audience waits

So I start the show

The melody floating

I am glowing

Feels like flying

Soaring

Diving

Everyone's eyes are on me

I jump and I twirl

Smile and sing

With glee in my heart

This feeling this feeling

Maybe I'm dreaming

And now the finale

The croud is waiting

On the edge of their chairs

So I hit the note

Raising hairs

And spilling tears

From weaping eyes

Everyone loves me

I'm an actress

That they all want to see

Because I'm finally a star

Not on the milky way

But broadway
