The Only Cloud

November 6, 2017

You are the only cloud on a sunny day.

Because of you, I have shade on the hottest day of the year.

You are the friend who never knows when to be quiet.

Because of you, I am never bored when I’m with you.

You are the awkward first dancer on the dance floor.

Because of you, I find the courage to dance.

You are the never-ending line in cafeteria.

Because of you, I learn the value of patience.

You are the annoying alarm clock in the morning.

Because of you, I don’t oversleep or run late.

You are the dreaded first day of school.

Because of you, I enjoy my summer as much as I can before it ends.
