broken record

July 21, 2018

drowning in my own tears like a tea bag

i planted myself at the bottom like a mangrove tree

through my log you can see the snags

asking why cant you just love me

you cannot suffer what is not your fate

the same way you cannot suffer if you dont relate

you cannot force someone to reciprocate

nno matter how bad you want it

spitting games on her like a lama

trying to crop myself in her mind just like a trauma

never ending drama

we grew apart just like a comma

knowing that this person will never love me back

like a coma exiling myself is all i could afford

heart bits jogging in my chest like a sound track

call it a broken record
