Uplifting

October 7, 2014

Hearts shattered, spirits crumbled, and faith tested

Climbing mountains and quests for peace have never rested

Searching for joy in more places than one

In this never ending battle it appears that I have not won.

However, as time has been a continuum, I have discovered my sanctuary

A place with no judgment, fear, or insecurities

There is shouting, rejoicing, dancing, and music all around me

And in that moment I have finally discovered the key

Like an ocean full of endless wonders and discoveries

I have found what uplifts me

It is a house where everyone is welcome

Where revelations are made and powerful words are used as a weapon against the enemy

A sense of inner peace and joyful tears is all through the air

What will forever uplift me until the end of time is prayer
