The Man With The Axe

July 23, 2014

Drowning.

Slowly but surely, I am drowning.

As I drown to the bottom of a lake, all I see is fish, blood and air bubbles

My boat is being driven away by a man who called us brothers but was nothing more than a man with an axe.

My feet touch the soft mud and fish come and nibble off my old dead flesh.

As I slowly disintegrate into bones and lost memories, I wonder what I have done to earn an early death and no funeral.

The man that I did not know anymore put me into a grave of mud and bones and no future.

That man was my sanity.
