Quiet

August 20, 2014

A mockingbird, a humming bid, a canary

Who do they sing for?

Do they wish to be heard by their friends, their family, their everybody?

Or do they sing for themselves...?

No matter what they say, whether or not they are

heard

and they still sing.

They sing until they can't.

Soft tufts, strong throats, soothing tones

Humming, cooing, whistling, crooning, trilling, chirping,

Singing.
