Now

April 29, 2019

Every birthday of the past, held anticipation of simply being an older age

Day by day wondering of the woman I would grow up to be

I grow by the second knowing that the now brings out the best in me

Am I wrong? The now can bring out the best in us all

Renewed in everyday learning, we can learn to appreciate every part of our being

In the past, I did not realized this and choose to survive rather embracing being alive

Wisdom allows me to feel older beyond my years and cherish this moment as we speak

Now, I grow up.
